“Building the Future Cash Ecosystem: Smart, Secure, Seamless” takes place October 7-9, 2026, at the Swissôtel Chicago
Chicago, IL (May 7, 2026) – Registration is now open for the 2026 SCTA Conference, the cash industry’s premier annual gathering, taking place October 7–9, 2026, at the Swissôtel Chicago. Hosted by the Secure Cash & Transport Association (SCTA), this year’s conference centers on the theme “Building the Future Cash Ecosystem: Smart, Secure, Seamless.” This year’s theme speaks directly to the forces reshaping the industry today: evolving compliance requirements, advancements in smart safe technology and AI-driven fraud detection, changes in ATM usage and the retail landscape, shifting consumer cash-use patterns, new banknote emissions, and more.
“The cash industry is navigating a period of real transformation, and the SCTA Conference is where that conversation happens at the highest level. We’re looking forward to bringing the ecosystem together in Chicago to tackle what’s next,” remarks Jim Petit, President of the Secure Cash & Transport Association.
Now in its 14th year, the SCTA Conference draws professionals from across the full cash ecosystem — armored carriers, ATM operators, financial institutions, retailers, policy advocates, and technology providers — to share intelligence, examine emerging trends, and build the partnerships that move the industry forward.
Early bird pricing for both SCTA members and non-members is available through July 28, 2026 ($975 for members, $1,375 for non-members). Attendees are encouraged to register early to lock in discounted rates and secure their place at this year’s event.
