Mark serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lowers Risk Group, a provider of enterprise-wide risk mitigation and loss prevention, employment screening, and data intelligence services through its four complementary companies: Lowers & Associates, Lowers Forensics International, Proforma Screening Solutions, and Wholesale Screening Solutions. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and has over 30 years of experience administering risk management functions.

Jim Petit

President, Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology America, Inc.

Jim Petit is an experienced executive with over 30 years in the technology and financial services sectors. He currently serves as President of Currency Technology at Giesecke+Devrient (G+D), where he leads the Currency Management Solutions division for the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area, Jim is also a Board Member and President of the Secure Cash & Transport Association (SCTA).

Jim is widely recognized as a strong advocate for Payment Choice and the ongoing importance of cash in modern economies. His leadership combines international experience, business transformation expertise, and a clear commitment to building resilient, inclusive, and trusted payment ecosystems.

Antonio Palmiotto

Managing Director-North America Head of Specie-USA, Willis Towers Watson

Toni is the Executive Chairman/Global North America Head of Specie at Willis Towers Watson.  Prior to this position at WTW he was the Founder/ CEO of International Insurance Brokers, Inc., an insurance brokerage operation specializing in the insurance and risk management needs of industries engaged in the transportation and storage of valuables, focusing on armored car, check casing, courier, precious metals, jewelry and financial institution risks.  In January of 2006 Toni merged IIB into Willis North America and took on the additional responsibility for WTW Jewelers Block and Fine Art divisions as CEO of Specie operation in the US.

Kim Trombly

With more than 30 years of experience in event planning and management, Kim brings a seasoned, hands-on approach to delivering exceptional meetings and conferences. From the early development of the Secure Cash & Transit Association (SCTA), she has played an integral role in shaping its success, currently serving as Board Secretary and Conference Director.

In this role, Kim leads the planning and execution of SCTA’s annual conferences, overseeing everything from site selection and contract negotiations to vendor coordination, programming, and on-site management. Known for her attention to detail and ability to anticipate client needs, she consistently delivers seamless, high-quality events for up to 225 attendees.

Her expertise extends beyond SCTA through her work as an Events & Travel Coordinator with Lowers Risk Group and as the former owner of a successful event planning business. Across corporate events, trade shows, and weddings, she has built a reputation for transforming venues, cultivating strong vendor partnerships, and executing events that are both memorable and meticulously organized. Her personal motto: “Plan with purpose, execute with precision, and always create an experience worth remembering.”

Jason Kyd

Divisional Senior Vice President, Great American Insurance Group

Jason heads up the specie business for Great American’s Fidelity/Crime Division. He joined in 2005 from Marsh where he handled the same class of business. Jason has 23 years of experience in the specie field and has primarily focused on cash-in-transit during this time. He has taken Great American to be a leading market in the cash-in-transit industry since joining the company.

Joseph M. Shea

President, Rochester Armored Car Company, Inc.

Joe is President of Rochester Armored Car and has more than 50 years of industry experience. A family-owned business, Rochester has specialized in providing high-quality armored car services to the middle U.S., serving customers from North Dakota to Texas since 1964. Today, Rochester has more than 30 offices. Each office offers armored car services and cash management solutions. As a founding member of the Secure Cash Transport Association, Joe is a strong advocate for industry best practices and the protection of cash. Rochester is well known for its exceptional service and has earned the reputation for “delivering more than you expect”

Paul Palumbo

SCTA Board Member

Vice President of Corporate Security, Davis Bancorp

Paul Palumbo is Vice President of Corporate Security for Davis Bancorp, a Cash-In-Transit company based in Chicago.  He joined Davis in 2023 and is responsible for all aspects of safety and security.  Prior to joining Davis, Paul was a federal law enforcement agent for over 31 years, 29 of which was with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).  He served in the Boston, Washington DC and Chicago field divisions of the FBI specializing in Complex White Collar crime investigations.  After the FBI, Paul was the Assistant Inspector General of Investigations (AIGI) for the Railroad Retirement Board Office of the Inspector General in Chicago.  He was responsible for all investigations coast-to-coast.  Paul retired from Federal Service as a member of the Senior Executive Service, which is the highest level of civilian Federal Employment in the United States Government.  Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Gettysburg College and a Master’s degree from DePaul University in Chicago. 

Laura Jones

Laura Jones is President of U.S. Bank Cash Management Services, overseeing strategic sales, product innovation, operations, and risk management for a leading cash and armored logistics provider. With over 20 years in cash solutions and electronic payments, her leadership has driven business growth and industry innovation. In addition to her leadership role, Laura is a licensed attorney and has previously served as Senior Business Line Risk Manager and Corporate Counsel for U.S. Bank.

A respected voice in the industry, she frequently shares her insights as a speaker at conferences as well as authoring documents on topics including ATM security and the benefits of outsourcing ATM cash management. She is a founding board member of the Secure Cash & Transport Association and serves on several industry boards. She holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and is a graduate of the CBA Executive Banking School for Retail Bank Management.

Todd Worthey

Todd is Vice President of Risk Management for The Brink’s Company’s U.S. Operations, which is based in Dallas. In this role, he leads the development and implementation of initiatives to continually improve the safety and security of the company’s employees and the valuables they protect. Previously, Todd served as Vice President of the company’s Northern operations region. Prior to joining Brink’s in 2014, he served in a number of operation leadership roles for Advance Auto Parts and The Home Depot. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas.

Randy Sheltra

EVP Risk Management, Loomis Armored US

Randy has 20+ years of experience in risk management and operations at Loomis. He began his career in the cash-in-transit industry in 1995, when Loomis was still known as Wells Fargo Armored. Randy has served Loomis in various capacities including branch manager, regional loss prevention manager, and vice president of safety.

As vice president of safety, Randy worked to raise the bar for best practices in risk management. By introducing technological advancements into the Loomis fleet of vehicles, Randy’s efforts helped to reduce incidents and improve driver behavior. Randy also contributed to Loomis’ business continuity plan, which is used by the company during natural disasters and service interruptions. In 2017, Randy was appointed executive vice president of risk management. He is currently responsible for safety, security, claims, legal, and internal audits.

Suzanne J. Ricci

SVP, Director, Cash Connect

Suzanne J. Ricci is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Cash Connect, a division of WSFS Bank.  She joined WSFS in 2015 as Senior Vice President and Director of Strategic Initiatives.  Prior to joining WSFS, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Alliance Bank in Broomall, PA, from 2013–2015 and held various leadership roles over the course of 20 years in Operations, Technology and Finance for Alliance Bank.  Suzanne is past President of the Philadelphia Chapter of Financial Manager’s Society and served on its Board from 2000-2005.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Cabrini University and her Master of Science in Accounting from Widenor University.

LaToya Lee

LaToya Lee is the Vice President of Crew Safety at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers.  She is a Past President of DFW RIMS, a former Board of Director for the National Retail and Restaurant Defense Association and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Secure Cash & Transportation Association. She is an innovative forward-thinking leader with a wealth of Insurance, Risk, Claims, Safety & Security, as well as Crisis Management knowledge. Her extensive experience has been instrumental in the execution of crisis protocols and physical safety & security programs for 1,000 Restaurants and over 75,000 Crewmembers.

Marianne Cummins

Marianne has worked in the cash payment ecosystem for 25+ years. During that time, Marianne has completed many cash payment system projects on numerous aspects of cash supply chain activities including costs – top down and bottom-up.

Marianne summarizes her overall philosophy to many aspects of life and work as follows.

“You can do the right thing right or do the right thing wrong, but there are no instances, when you can do the wrong thing right…. The right strategy is paramount – but changing mindsets is not necessarily easy….”

Robert Norman

Robert Norman is the Senior Vice President and Head of Cash Logistics at Fifth Third Bank.  With over forty years of experience in the payments industry and a specific emphasis on cash, Robert is both an acknowledged industry expert and accomplished innovator in the market and recognized as such.  He has a patent to his name, and a leading advocate for Payment Choice Act, advocating for citizens’ rights at the very top of our government institutions, he is undoubtedly a Champion for Cash in America.

Brad Moody

Brad brings extensive expertise in financial services risk management to his role at CONTROLTEK. Before joining the team, he served as an Executive Vice President at Lowers Risk Group, where he forged strategic partnerships with financial institutions, retailers, armored carriers, and hospital networks to strengthen security and compliance. Brad has successfully developed and implemented security management programs and operational practices for Fortune 500 companies, utilizing advanced technology to drive uniform operational excellence. Prior to this, as an executive manager of transaction services at Bank of America, he managed vendor performance and operations for the entire cash ecosystem, further cementing his reputation for delivering innovative and effective solutions in complex operational environments.

At CONTROLTEK, Brad applies this expertise to ensure clients across retail, financial services, and logistics industries stay ahead of evolving security threats. His focus on innovative, customer-centric solutions strengthens CONTROLTEK’s mission to be the trusted partner for businesses worldwide.
