We are pleased to feature SCTA member, CITE Armored, and its Senior Vice President of Plant Operations, Ken Russell, in this month’s member spotlight.
Q: How does your company work within the cash industry?
A: We design and manufacture armored vehicles for the Cash in Transit industry.
Q: What is the one thing you want other SCTA member organizations to know about your company?
A: CITE Armored is completely focused on understanding specific customer needs and then meeting those needs. We provide the latest and most innovative designs available to improve protection and mobility for our armored cars and trucks. We strive to offer the highest quality product possible, along with an experienced team to deliver the most superior level of ongoing technical support and service in the industry.
Q: What drew your organization to become a member of the SCTA?
A: Joining the SCTA was an opportunity for us to support our customers in the industry along with networking with other companies that we don’t normally have the opportunity to connect with. It’s always great to spend time with everyone in the industry to share and learn new ideas.
Q: What are the biggest changes you expect in the future of the cash industry? Why?
A: Technology is rapidly changing. We anticipate many more on-board electronics such as camera systems that will interface with OEM chassis ECM for safety data, electronic interlock and controls that ensure the vehicle is operated in an efficient, safe, and secure manner.
