Q: How does your company work within the cash industry?

A: As North America’s leading maker of armored vehicles, we build highly reliable and innovative trucks that are up-to-task for cash transportation.

Q: What is the one thing you want other SCTA member organizations to know about your company?

A: Every business is unique. We are here to listen and take stock of your needs, right down to the smallest details. Our vehicles are impenetrable, but our team is wide open. A quick call or meeting will give you a sense of how approachable and creative we are.

Q: What drew your organization to become a member of the SCTA?

A: The SCTA is a group that represents the shared interest for the industry players. A team of passionate people that collaborate with industry leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue with the objective to push the industry towards new and exciting opportunities. We are proud to be a member.

Q: What are the biggest changes you expect in the future of the cash industry? Why?

A: Trucks are getting smaller for many reasons. They are good for smaller parcels, but also for fuel efficiency, ease of driving, and for drivers without commercial driver's licenses.

Q: What is an exciting development in the industry you’ve recently seen? What excites you about it?

A: Currently the maximum GVWR of the transit is 10,360 lbs. In 2021, the Ford transit van will be available with 11,000 lbs of GVWR, from the factory. It will be a good van to armor, as it will offer decent payload, and we will stay within the chassis OEM capacities. We are looking forward to adding this product in our portfolio.

Q: What are the biggest challenges the cash industry will face in the next 1-3 years? Why?

A: Re-balancing the fleet, getting rid of the old and costly units to maintain, and getting the right sized trucks for the future.
