Q: How does your company work within the cash industry?
A: 3SI technology protects currency worldwide using GPS tracking and cash tracing/staining. We bring over 45 years of cash management experience in Banking, Credit Unions and Cash in Transit. We recently introduced our new SecuriTrans™️ intelligent transport bag—this bag protects against numerous types of attacks, including forcible entry and grab-and-run. Most importantly, using technology it separates the guards from dangerous criminals to keep the guards out of harm's way and assists in driver productivity.
Q: What is the one thing you want other SCTA member organizations to know about your company?
A: Our reputation for superior solutions, service, and technology dates back to when the company was founded almost 50 years ago. We have been laser-focused on protection solutions that promote recovery and deterrence. Our experience, coupled with technological growth and expansion, has allowed 3SI to create innovative security solutions that deliver results for clients while keeping our customers, staff, and the communities we serve safe.
Q: What drew your organization to become a member of the SCTA?
A: SCTA is recognized as a leading organization in the cash logistics and transport industry. Membership allows us to interface with industry leaders to understand the challenges they face and help develop mutually beneficial solutions. We view our customers as partners and believe SCTA offers a great opportunity to expand our ongoing partnerships.
Q: What are the biggest challenges the cash industry will face in the next 1-3 years? Why?
A: Now and in the coming years, staffing will be a major challenge. With near full employment and pressure to raise the minimum wage, SCTA members will be more challenged than ever to control variable costs and labor. One tactic is to embrace one-man truck operations on most routes, but that presents major security issues. Luckily, new technology in the form of smarter vehicles, personal protective equipment and intelligent transport bags will help make one-man operations safer. With almost 50 years’ experience in security, we are ideally positioned to meet client expectations for products and services with a suite of wraparound offerings that deliver Security, Safety, Service, and Innovation.
